Cletus Seldin Knockout in the First Round

Perhaps some of you remember the Hebrew Hammer. Seldin is a hard throwing Hebrew from Brooklyn, NY who rose to fame with his heavy handed, high pressure style.

Unfortunately for Seldin, his lack of boxing skill was exposed against Yves Ulysse a year ago on the Billy Joe Saunders vs David Lemieux card. However, he remains a fan favorite, always delivering high energy and dramatic fights.

His fight Saturday against journeyman Adam Mate was no different. Seldin came out firing early, knocking Mate out in the first minute of the fight. You can see the fight below in its entirety via his youtube page.

Boxing skills or not, Seldin is a tough man. Make sure to check out his channel too because he is a personality.

Nik enjoys bantamweight wars, good body work, and boxers who work on their craft. In his spare time he spends time with his family, or away from them in his work shop.
