A vicious stoppage on February 23rd by Ocala, FL super featherweight Gadwin Rosa over opponent Jorge Luis Santos Guzman took place at the The Met in Philly in Philadelphia, PA. Rosa finished the scheduled 6 round bout in the 2nd with a flurry forcing the ref to step in and end the fight.
Knockouts are often a product of great power and Rosa showed his power throwing heavy blows to Guzman during the fight.

For fun, I had to add the knockdown that set up the stoppage below on a beautiful left hook. Rosa throws some classic hooks and this knockdown was the beginning of the end.

Rosa continues to impress us with his improvement and we hope to see that trend continue. He still has a bit of work to do but its clear watching him as much as we do that he has all the tools.
The stoppage improved Rosa’s record to 10-0-0 with 7 wins by knockout while Guzman’s record sank to 5-3-1.
