Ja’Rico O’Quinn Puts on a Show to Remain Undefeated

Detroit prospect Ja’Rico O’Quinn earned a 3rd round stoppage over Alex Rangel Saturday, February 8th at Motor City Casino in Detroit. O’Quinn put together some impressive combination punching to take down the journeyman.

Wins early over lesser competition is nothing new and nothing to get excited about. But how a prospect wins is where all the money is. O’Quinn’s impressive mixing of head and body shots, coupled with good hand and foot speed made this fight a nightmare for Rangel.

Moreover, you can see in the video that Rangel was exhausted by round 3 and O’Quinn was still motoring (sorry). O’Quinn’s conditioning looks top notch and that is a product of hard work. Skills and work can take you a long way.

O’Quinn advanced to 11-0-1 with 8 knockouts to his name. The young man has been lighting up veteran competition and we will definitely see more of him in the future.

Nik enjoys bantamweight wars, good body work, and boxers who work on their craft. In his spare time he spends time with his family, or away from them in his work shop.
