Lindolfo Delgado Knockouts out James Roach in the First Round

On March 16th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX Lindolfo Delgado (9-0-0 9 KOs) of Monterrey, Mexico beat James Roach (5-2-0 5 KOs). Delgado dominated a good chunk of the scheduled 6 round fight before stopping Roach in the 1st.

The end came in the 1st round as Delgado was able to land a left hook to the body. The blow sent Roach to the mat, unable to recover before the 10 count.

Delgado was a heavy favorite in this contest but it was good to see him doing what needed to be done. With the win, Delgado’s record improves to 9-0-0 with 9 KOs. Roach’s record fell to 5-2-0.
