With all the talk about how little work Adrien Broner put in against Manny Pacquiao, he did enough that the 8-division champ has suffered an eye injury that puts his career in jeopardy.

According to Wallace Matthews of the New York Daily News, Pacquiao is reportedly heading back to the Philippines to see an eye specialists regarding the injury.

Pacquiao’s camp is concerned that the issue may be a detached retina. That type of injury could be career ending.

Pacquiao, at 40 years old, is likely already considering retirement. But given the rumors swirling about a rematch between him and Floyd Mayweather this injury could cost Pacquiao millions.
