Middle Prospect Nikita Ababiy with a First Round Stoppage over Cory Dulaney

Nikita Ababiy (3-0-0 3 KOs) knocked out Cory Dulaney (5-9-3 1 KOs) in the 1st round of a scheduled 4 round middleweight fight. The contest was held on March 9th at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, NY.
Over the course of the first round it became clear that Ababiy going to end the night early. In that round round Ababiy was able to take advantage of this by scoring a brutal left on Dulaney’s chin that sent Dulaney to the mat, unable to recover before the 10 count.
There’s a lot of hype around Ababiy. I’m not entirely sure its deserved yet but his looks good for this being his 3rd professional fight.
Ababiy was a heavy favorite in this fight but it was good to see him doing what needed to be done. The 3rd win before the final bell of Ababiy’s career improves his record to 3-0-0. Dulaney’s record fell to 5-9-3.
