Oleskandr Gvozdyk Set to Headline the 2300 Arena on March 30th

Continuing the Philly Boxing Renaissance, the 2300 Arena (aka New Alhambra, aka ECW Arena) will be hosting the light heavyweight champion Oleskandr Gvozdyk as he makes his first title defense against Doudou Ngumbu.

Gvozdyk won the title from Adonis Stevenson in a brutal 11th round Knockout in Quebec City last December.

Ngumbu is a Congolese native with his best fight to date being a UD loss to Andrzej Fonfara. But he is coming off the most significant win of his career against Yoann Kongolo in a 12 round majority decision. This will be his first attempt at a world title.

The card is co-headlined by Egidijus Kavaliauskas vs Philly Native Ray Robinson.

Also appearing on the card is Philly born heavyweight prospect Sonny Conto, who recently won his professional debut at the same venue.

The bout is co promoted by Top Rank and Peltz Promotions. The fight will be aired on ESPN. You can purchase tickets here.
