Rolando Vargas Knocks Out Tamarcus Smith in Dominating Fashion

In a one sided welterweight fight between Rolando Vargas (2-0-0 2 KOs) and Tamarcus Smith (2-2-0 2 KOs), Vargas stopped Smith in the 1st round. The scheduled 4 round match finished when Vargas mercifully put a stop to the match at The Voinovich Center in Columbus, OH.

Vargas closed the night with a impactful left hook to the chin in the 1st round. The conclusion was preceded by a thorough beating in the early rounds as Vargas ground down Vargas as the fight went on. The blow sent Smith to the mat, unable to recover before being counted out.
