Teofimo Lopez Closing in on His First Title Shot?

Per Teofimo Lopez’s twitter, the young lightweight super star is looking at headlining on July 19 in Washington, DC for his first title eliminator.

Lopez was responsible for a knockout of the year candidate last year over Mason Mendard. He has gone on to knock out his next two opponents after that fight.

The hard hitting prospect has 11 knockouts in 13 fights and looks as polished as you can expect a 21 year old to look. No official announcement on the fight yet.
